All about convenience really. I park the car overnight in garage with very limited space. Will be easier to sit charger on dashboard with window open a bit for power lead. I drive lots of short journeys , ok in summer but winter with wipers n lights heater demister on is another story

Could i cut off the croc. clips off the charger, and fit a ciggy lighter plug? the socket is always on, even when engine is off & key out ignition.

Re: bitumen, the surface needs to be dry when doing wood roof so I reckon that would pay to concrete. There was a product that goes on even damp surfaces with glass fibre resin in, can't remember what it's called , spread across the roof, not rubber but glass fibre

a mechanic, said the lid on my fiesta zetec was tight, he took it off and squirted lots of WD40 on the inside of the lid, before screwing it back on. I drove it 3 miles home, then rubbed it all off. I looked into the coolant fluid but couldn't tell if any dripped into the coolant. The wd40 left...
