Hi, just picked up some of this pipe from a local plumbing supplier. Did you use it? Were there any issues?

I meant the same thing happens with gas off, "little puff" is still there.

Electrodes do not spark. Except only on the rare occasions when it ignites for a short period.

Microbore system, was heavily sludged. I gathered it would need a flush any way so best start with that and see if it has a positive effect on the pump, if the issue is related to that. But mainly it was curiosity, that's how we all learn.

Hi all, I have power flushed a heating system. Boiler does not work (was not working prior to power flush). When demand is on, pump starts, I can feel a short Puff of air from the flue. This switch is only activated when the hot water turns on. I can see the pin push out and press the switch. Boiler then boosts. Do you still think I should cut it?

Can't disconnect either side without cutting. This switch seems to be working as hot water works. Pump also runs.

The on on the pipe coming from burner and going to diverter.

Thermistor replaced, but still the same. Micro switch is activated by the vertical pin on the diverter which extends when boiler is turned on. So I assume micro switch is working fine. With microswitch disconnected, and boiler switched to water only. Fan and pump seem to run without any...
