Here's how it looks after builder tried cleaning it up. Am I being too picky? Would most of you not be bothered?

They fitted them and that's what it's ended up like.

Am I being too pedantic or should I ask the builder to replace this? They removed the damaged bit and shaved t slightly so it doesn't look as bad.

I've given them the go ahead. The tank was removed years ago so I think it's a relatively simple job for a professional. Maybe messy if they have to go up the loft.

So out of interest what would you expect to pay?

They've been great with other stuff TBH. I was just on the fence as to whether it's a job I should sort myself.
