No hot water (CH working fine). Boiler doesn't have a flow switch/turbine - as demand for hot water comes from NTC on side of thermal store cylinder. Diode B flashing every 5 seconds (indicating normal boiler standby) i.e. boiler doesn't seem to be registering a demand for HW at all. Changed...

Had a problem with occasionally recurring F22 on this boiler. Changed the AAV, flushed the system but no joy. Now the tenant reports that the boiler is periodically over-pressuring and discharging (every few weeks). Any ideas what's going on with this boiler/system please?

Am I alone in thinking this is a nightmare job. Need to change the PRV but it's tucked right up the arse of the boiler. Service manual advises to remove the 'hydraulic block'. i.e. pump, diverter valve, plate heat exchanger etc which requires opening no end of connections ... has anyone carried...

No, very little heat on the return. What heat there is could even be coming down from the hot water circuit

Hey Dubya, will a blocked bypass affect the diverter valve...? I'm defo it's not a problem on the demand side.

flame comes on max for HW; low for CH. Hence flame recognition probs sometimes on CH demand only

Hello there Just registered with this site. I am an RGI. Got a problem with a Main 24 HE combi continually shutting down on CH demand (but no problem on HW) and would be very grateful for any help; I'm going to site again tomorrow. Burner is shutting down about 10 seconds after ignition...
