2 gang switch, dimmer replacement, odd behaviour (?) / new build house

Just to double check.. On the old switch, Bottom 2 and Top 1 are connected to COM2 and COM1 respectively. But you are saying on the dimmer switch they should be connected to L1 and linked. And Bottom 1 and Top 2 are connected to COMs, although they were on L11 and L21. Not sure if this makes any...

2 gang switch, dimmer replacement, odd behaviour (?) / new build house

Hi, I have never come across this before, so I hope you can give me some direction here. I can normally swap switches and sockets without changing any configuration, but it didn't quite work out this time around. I always mark cables and take photos. I have 2 lights in the main bedroom...

    Anti-syphon trap, but still gurgling

Thanks for the comments. Would this have anything to do with washinig machine waste and external waste being almost level? I would have thought that the black waste pipe (RHS) would need to be a bit lower than the left handside. No sure if this is important or not, but if I was setting this up I...

    Anti-syphon trap, but still gurgling

Hi, I replaced our trap with an anti-syphon one (and also changed the angle of the washing machine waste). But when the washing machine starts, it still gurgles. Why does that still happen, and more importantly, what else do I need to do? Please see 2 images before/after: Thanks in advance!

    Danfoss TP5001B Opentherm to NEST

OK, this is starting to sound like not quite a DIY job. Can I ask as well, would OT support 2 zones? I believe the property we are moving into (it's a new build) has 2 zones. Would opentherm be still the best option? Or if not compatible, swap the thermostats with NEST and keep as on/off? I...

    Danfoss TP5001B Opentherm to NEST

Hi Chris, thank you for the explanation. Looking a bit deeper into this I think you are spot on, it's a load compensation and not opentherm. And it's very basic, as you said. It definitely does not have a receiver - I checked the model, which is 5001B. I've attached the specifications for this...

    Danfoss TP5001B Opentherm to NEST

Hello, We are soon moving into a new house, but unfortunately it comes with a fairly basic thermostat - Danfoss TP5001B. It's battery operated, but not wireless. And is setup to use opentherm / load compensation. I have not yet access to the wiring behind it, but as I understand it will only...
