    Paint keeps cracking

Photo #2 shows stains or dampness coming through. Photo #4 probably stains. I can't see anything on the other photos, cleaning the lens :-) might have helped. Did you do the previous decorating, and if yes was there wallpaper on the wall? Or did you use PVA to fix some problem areas?

    Paint keeps cracking

Instead of telling us what paints you got, you should have been showing us the paint that is peeling again BEFORE you strip it. There is obviously something there that your new paint does not like. Is the paint the Eclipse you posted on your other thread?

Dulux Trade Diamond Egg Shell on plaster

I would for the first coat (belts and braces) unless you really really know that the paint underneath is not absorbent.

Dulux Trade Diamond Egg Shell on plaster

Would you dilute a bit the first coat? I found the Crown to be a bit too thick but that is a long time ago (I ended up with more orange peel than I wanted), I fixed it later but...

Dulux Trade Diamond Egg Shell on plaster

Can't help you with B&Q or Dulux much. Eggshell in theory has a bit of sheen and is definitely not matt. Dulux Trade has a Diamond matt paint https://www.duluxtradepaintexpert.co.uk/en/products/paint/dulux-trade/dulux-trade-diamond-matt and Crown Trade...

Dulux Trade Diamond Egg Shell on plaster

Would you put remould tyres on the rear wheels of your car because they do not do as much work as the fronts (assuming you got a front wheel drive car)? False economy, although I am not that familiar with Dulux these paints are meant to really be two coats of the same paint.

    Exterior wood paint inside

    Perfect :-) go ahead.

    Exterior wood paint inside

Exterior paint is meant to have fungicides and whatever else that you may not want to breath in. Check with the manufacturer's spec sheet on whether it should be used inside the house.

Lining paper fail on bad filler

PS. Consider if furniture might cover some of the bumps and leave it all for another time.

Lining paper fail on bad filler

Twice I thought to answer and twice I deleted my reply because I could not find something useful to say. Here is attempt 3. Your grey "filler" might have been hardwall or simply mortar. You should have persevered with sanding (thicker grade paper, electric sander, chisel, scraper, more elbow...

    Zinseer Bin balls up!

Bulls Eye 123 is a high adhesion primer (will stick to difficult surfaces). Bulls Eye 123 Plus is the same primer but also a stain blocker. Two things: (a) use the Plus version which costs more money but will work better as a blocker; (b) when you apply the first coat if the colour of the...

    Zinseer Bin balls up!

Yup. BIN is only for spot priming (for knots really) on the outside. Try removing it with wet and dry, 120 grade to start with and 180 to finish perhaps and use a block for the flat surfaces. If you have methylated spirit try washing it down with meths and a scrubbing pad, it may or may not...

    Zinseer Bin balls up!

What were you trying to do (don't tell me "paint them")? And is it the outside of your outside door that you have coated with zinsser bin?

Repainting old banister which is part wood part old paint

You need to sand more. A lot more. You will never get a good finish if you paint on the basis of the photo you have posted.

Sealer, primer, or mist coat bare and old plaster?

If you are not certain all the paste has been removed (you can only tell when the wall was wet being washed/scrubbed) then use Gardz. Do not worry about the edges that have oil based paint, if you use a quality trade emulsion it will adhere on the oil paint as long as you don't go testing it...
