I need to replace my old 35kw combi with either a system or combi storage (1 bath, 2 showers, 18 radiators) and wonder which system you'd go for?
I've been quoted for either a Viessman 222f Storage Combi (£6k) or a Worcester Greenstar 27i System with a Telford Tempest 250L Cylinder (£5.5K)...
Great, thanks for the reply's. We don't have a door bell but maybe there was an old one. Or could be linked up to the alarm maybe... Either way I'll get a cover
Ok, thanks for all the input, appreciate the info ericmark. Looks like the consensus would be go to 240V GU10's.
So my next question is:
Rather than replace the whole fire rated downlight (https://auroraclearance.com/au-dll991.html), is it OK to swap out the MR16 Lamp holder and replace with a...
Hello,
I've just changed over to LED bulbs on my Kitchen downlights and have a few questions.
There was a 4-gang switch which I have now changed over to a 4-gang trailing edge dimmer switch.
On that 4 gang switch:

1 knob...

Hello,
Looking to purchase a rigid riser shower which attaches straight onto a bath shower mixer tap. Most of these taps seem to attach straight to a flexible shower hose. My question is, can they be attached straight to a rigid riser instead of a flexible hose?
Thanks!
thanks! the rigid filling loop was fine but then i found another older filling loop lower down the pipes and the valve was knackered on that, so i blanked it off. Thanks for your reply
Hello,
What are the other reasons boiler pressure gauge increase beyond the filling loop passing?
My boiler pressure constantly rises and then sits at about 3 bar. Filling loop is not passing. What are the other reasons the pressure could keep increasing? Could it be a faulty gauge?
thanks for the reply. the situation has updated a little. So the pressure now constantly rises, slowly, but seems to get to 3bar and then stays there, so i bleed the rads and the pressure builds again to 3bar. I've detached the rigid filling loop and the isolation valves are working (the only...
Thanks for the explanation nozzle. Is there any reason this only happens with the central heating then? And not the hot water. So the pressure change doesn't have have anything to do with filling loops or other? Just the natural pressure changes with heat?
