Hi No instructions, with regards to the wiring I basically took the old light off & installed the new one, minus a earth from the new light. No earth terminal or wire on the new light.

Just bought a new ceiling lamp & it only has 2 wires Brown & Blue, so no earth, out of the ceiling is 2 red 2 black & a earth. I've wired the reds to brown and blacks to blue, should I use the earth wire and attach it to the fixing screw on the metal ceiling rose? or does it not need an earth...
