    An automatic bypass fitted on the return and flow near the boiler would be sufficient and the rads with trvs would be suffecient, it does not need to be at the towel rail.

    Tukky, Try checking the diaphram in the boiler for the hot water to see that its opening ok. Try checking the hot water thermistor also. This can be done with a multimeter and read it in ohms across the connections. Could be that maybe..

    Hello, Seems like the firing sequence is in working order. If the pilot light goes out after 5-10 secs it would seem the thermocouple is faulty. Does the boiler fire up and the burner ignite then goes out or is it just the pilot light ignites then goes out?

    seems very strange he used a pc to find the gas valve was set incorrect. You would use a u gauge for this and adjust gas pressure to suit via adjuster.
