    Firebird Enviromax problem

So many Firebird problems. So many from newish boilers and yet all the reviews ay they are wonderful. Makes me wonder if someone is paying for reviews. They must the about the worst, most unreliable boilers on the market. I spend more on call-outs, repairs and spares than I pay for a year's...

    More Firebird woes......................

In the 4 years I've had this lump of 'schrott' installed, there have been problems. It's cost me more in repairs and spares than the oil has cost. Woke up this morning to discover that the central heating no longer works and, when I turn on the hot tap a tiny trickle of water comes out. I am...

Firebird oil boiler hit water problem... Maybe

Firebird organised getting the boiler repaired with various replacement parts. Bear in mind when this all happened, it had only been installed a week! I've only had it in for 3 1/2 years and it was serviced every summer. Living rural I don't have the option of gas. I have always lived rural and...

    Firebird oil boiler any good?

When valves needed to be replaced before the boiler was a week old, I'd say that was a problem. IIRC they were water valves. Firebird oil boiler any good?

I'm about t have mine replaced. The expense will hurt me but I can't be doing with the constant repairs, which started the week it was installed brand new. Various valves needed to be replaced before it would work. I suspect it was a lemon. Either way I'm not throwing good money after bad and...

    Firebird oil boiler any good?

Hopefully you didn't believe the hype and go with Firebird. If you did, since this thread is 3 years old, you will now need to buy a new boiler no doubt.

Firebird oil boiler hit water problem... Maybe

Chuck it out and buy a decent boiler. Mine is just over 3 years old and has packed up. When it was installed I had to have an engineer out several times to fix and replace parts to get it to work and that was a brad new boiler. It was a taste of things to come. It's not worth faffing about...
