Thanks for your reply, why would it be mildew if we use the machine maybe twice a week, incidentally the drawer wasn't like that in our previous house five years ago, could it be something in the water.

The soap drawer in my Hotpoint Ultima keeps on gathering a sludge like substance despite cleaning it every few months, the sink in the bathroom and the bath is the same down the plug hole. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, there is no need to run water down the hole as it was full of water to start with and not draining away, can you confirm if that is the cill marked on photo, cheers.

Removed a dado rail and I'm left with a built up dried lines of paint where the rail was, is there a paint product out there that can be painted over the imperfection as I can still see the lines after light sanding.

Do I need to drain the radiator when I disconnect it or can I just block off at both ends so that I can keep the fernox inhibitor inside the radiator, if the answer is yes how do I block of both outlets.

.... is making a strange noise quite like a blown exhaust and sound as if its going to stop but still has suction, I have checked for blockages which there are none. Any help much appreciated before I stick it in the bin and reluctantly buy a newer model. Cheers guys.

Thanks for the replies, it may be easy as you both say so what about the cost implications please? And what is involved in the conversion. The reason why I am asking, is its gonna cost circa £700 to get NG to my house and don't want to jump the gun in getting my boiler converted.
