    Dribbling shower

Thanks for the advice. Do those magnetic scale inhibitors really work? I've always been a bit suspicious of them. Incidentally could limescale be responsible for making my ceramic disc mixer tap drip. I've only had it for about 8 months so am a bit dissapointed.

    Dribbling shower

Thanks, I forgot to mention in my original post that cleaning the handset was the first thing I did and unfortunately it didn't make any difference. It is as if the shower has lost some of its ability to heat the water but I don't know why. I can still use it, but its nowhere near as good as...

Thanks for all the replies. I took the saw back to Argos today (after having it for two months or so) and got my money back with no trouble at all. I'll just have to make do with my corded one for now and keep an eye out on ebay!

    Cordless Circular Saw

Hi, I recently bought a cheap (£40) cordless circular saw from Argos. Now, before anyone tells me I should only buy pro tools I am not a pro and really I only wanted this to occasionally cut MDF/chipboard when the B&Q timber saw is out of order (which seems to be most of the time). Last...

    lino on floorboards

Hi, I am planning on putting some lino down on my toilet floor. The floorboards were quite warped but now I have sanded them down they are nice and flat. I was thinking about putting down some hardboard and then laying the lino on that but should I use plywood instead? If, so how thick...

    Fitting UPVC Patio doors

Hi, I am planning on buying a UPVC french door and a patio door and fitting them myself. I have fitted UPVC windows in the past but not doors before. I am assuming that the procedure is similar. I noted that elsewhere on this forum it was said that usually only the sides of the door frame...
