    Reuse old cooker cable

Hi guys. Thanks for your answers. At the end of the day anything I do will not comply with current electrical standards. I want it to be safe and that is the reason why I am asking for your advice. If hell awaits me, let it be. What aboud using RCD sockets instead of normal ones...

    Reuse old cooker cable

Hi guys. Thank you for your answers. I am aware that the consumer unit is old but I never had any problems. I will consider upgrading it in the future as it looks dated and probably not safe according to current standards. Would you please advise if lollipop circuit and 4mm2 cable is safe enough...

    Reuse old cooker cable

Ok, thanks for your answer. Is it possible to make it work? I don't want to cause fire in my house and that is why I am asking. I am not planning to use any "energy-heavy" equipment.

    Reuse old cooker cable

Hi. Thanks for your answers. The circuit is RCD protected. Both cables (Shower and Cooker) are placed next to each other and not being used. Their continous length is <10m. Thank you very much for your answer. They did not say anything else. Everything worked as expected until I decided to set it up in normal speed mode. I "unlinked L2 and 4" but the fan has stopped working completely. I don't understand why but when I linked L2 with 5 it started working in normal...

Vortice Quadro Super T Surface Centrifugal Fan

Ok, I am replying to myself. This is the answer (official, taken from vortice support): Neutral into N1 Permanent Live into L2 Switched Live into 3 And then a link between L2 and 4 to set the fan on the high speed. The fan will operate constantly after switching on.

Vortice Quadro Super T Surface Centrifugal Fan

Hi guys. Would you be able to help me? I am trying to replace my bathroom fan but I am not an electrician. First time in my life I see electrical connectors that are not labelled and that is my problem (or maybe I don't know what am doing). My old fan connection is: switched fused spur -->...
