Should I get someone to look at the overheat thermostat I just had fitted ?

What is your suggestion ?

I also forgot to mention i have tried the system with both HW & CH on, HW on its own and CH on its own. All 3 times the CW tank overflows because HW is venting into CW tank.

There is no water venting into smaller tank

I have turned off hot water because tank overflows. When on hot water is hotter then usual.

With the boiler off there is no water venting into tank

The vent pipe going up to the loft is scalding hot

Water is venting into the big tank.

I turned off the hot and cold water to the new mixer and water was still venting. The water venting is hot enough to create steam in the loft.
