Hi, i have two similar quotes for new boilers one is for a broag remeha avanta 28kw the other a glow-worm flexicom 30kw has anyone any advice please?

thanks anyway, had similar prob last year and had about 4 different engineers to it, had british gas sort it, new secondary exchanger and dhw probes. Only about 8 years old but maybe should think about replacing it.

it is in manual as ignition failure lockout red l.e.d. The boiler will not reset if the temperature l.e.d's [yellow] are lit but if i run some hot water i can reset? p.s this problem has started since i emptied system to clean it.

hi im having a problem with my ariston microgenus mffi23 combi boiler, lockout led comes on regularly and boiler resets when i press reset button. was advised to change thermistor, is this the DHW temperature sensor? where could i get one please

HI thanks for your comments, I too am confused as to why these guys have diagnosed but not returned to do work, its as if there is other work more important but get feeling im being fobbed off! Was told a new HE could be expensive too so this was why I considered replacing boiler, maybe I should...

I have a Ariston microgenus 23KW combi-boiler and it repeatedly shuts down and needs resetting. I have been told by two plumbers that the heat exchanger needs replacing but they dont seem to be able to get a spare. The boiler is 6year old can this part be changed or should I get a new boiler?
