thank you Roughcaster, i was hoping that would be the answer :D as i got covered in enough crap when i pulled the plaster down

I have removed all the old cracked ceiling plaster and am ready to put up new plasterboard, should i remove the old laths as well or board over them, they are all in good order and level. Thanks in advance
