thanks for that. i dont want to use the plastic base if possible because it appears to be pushing the threshold slightly too high above my floor levels. will the gripfill fix the wood fiormly to the concrete withouth using the channel.

the gripfill page doesn't show wood as an option (although it does mention brick) substance. will gripfill stick the wood directly onto the concrete without needing to use the plastic channel?
