Thank you again :) The person with plumbing knowledge has just gone out and I'm afraid to say I don't know what setting up the cartridge again will involve. Do you have more details?

Thank you for the advice :) Have taken valve out and tested for hot water to come through - it does.

Conventional tank fed system with a separate cold tank

In a Aqualisa thermostatic 609 shower there is good pressure when turned to cold and a very slow dribble on hot. Have put a new cartridge in but the problem remains. Any ideas/advice? Thanks very much
