Shower problem

In a Aqualisa thermostatic 609 shower there is good pressure when turned to cold and a very slow dribble on hot. Have put a new cartridge in but the problem remains.
Any ideas/advice?

what sort of system is it connected to

Conventional tank fed system with a separate cold tank

poss air in pipework

could need the max temp adjusting

Have taken valve out and tested for hot water to come through - it does.

if you have changed the cartridge it will need setting up again

The person with plumbing knowledge has just gone out and I'm afraid to say I don't know what setting up the cartridge again will involve. Do you have more details?

not familiar with the model
but you need to turn the spindle till you hit the highest temp you want
then put the lever/knob back set at max

stupid question but have seen it plenty of times is the cartridge in the right way round
