Thanks Plug wash, the system is juction box system as none of the light fittings use the loop sockets. Also i've looked at my neibours rose (in the same posotion) and its wired the same. Also will I be able to get the crimps and chockbox from my local eletrical store as its not possible to get...

Sorry I forgot to say that that this old light rose is switched on by a switch that has 3 lights attached to it and one is a two way. Sorry can't put image up as have not got a wed site to put it on.

I\\\'ve bought a new light fitting to replace my old rose fitting but when I removed the old rose I found that there were 3 neutral cables in the in block but on 1 live and 1 earth (junction box system). Since my new fitting has the connectors direct on the actual bulb hold (slush ceil light)...
