Can this warped door be fixed, or is it best to have it replaced?

Well you seemed uncertain about where it appeared to be fitted, so I added a couple of details to clarify. Any comments on how I could clamp it back together? I'm not familiar with the tools. I have a couple of sash cramps but I guess they are nowhere near strong enough for pulling a door back...

Can this warped door be fixed, or is it best to have it replaced?

It's a pedestrian door to an old (1940s) concrete panel garage. Thanks for the advice

Can this warped door be fixed, or is it best to have it replaced?

This door was fitted to my garage around 7 or 8 years ago, but lately it seems to be warping very much out of true. See the pics of the bottom rail angling away from the side stile (batten added for emphasis). The door has always been noticeably stiffer to open and close in the winter (it scuffs...

Shower mixer tap often becomes cold, but hot water comes out of all the taps

I have a combi boiler working fine for central heating and hot water to all upstairs and downstairs taps. The shower uses what I think is a Mira mixer tap maybe 15 years old, running from the boiler and mains cold. Since I've lived here (10 years) the shower has taken about 90 seconds to come up...

Materials, sizes, gap for off the shelf bi-folds?

I'm thinking of replacing my French doors with a window either side, with some bifold doors. The gap from brick to brick outdoors is 2.39m, or 2.38 ish indoors from plaster to plaster Would a standard 2.4m window fit or would I need to get something a tiny bit smaller / bespoke? Also would a...

What's fallen off my roof and what do I need to repair it?

A chunk of render (?) fell off the side of the roof on my single storey extension last week. See attached pics. How should I approach fixing this? It looks like I should be able to just trowel something back on after maybe brushing loose material away. I'm trying to avoid buying a sack of...

Did you close and relaunch chrome? Just checking because the button was still there for me, like you, but once I'd quit chrome and restarted it then disappeared

Worktop still sticky a year after oiling

I re-oiled my (previously installed in my house) wooden worktop with Tung oil last November. Took my time, sanded down to bare for the first coat, then 4 coats wiping excess off after 20 minutes then leaving 24 hours till the next (with a 180 or 240 grit rub down before). It's still sticky...

Help for L + R-handed engineered flooring fitment

Hi, I'm looking at buying some surplus engineered flooring to do my hallway. Picture attached. Link to online product The person selling it has had it fitted in a herringbone pattern and the plank-boxes are marked Left and Right, which I assume means the tongues are something like Top+Right...

Hanging bookshelves off plasterboard with no battening

This is a 13 year old house where there are no battens in between the plasterboard walls. From reading around here and elsewhere it looks like it could be poor/cheap construction techniques. I've not seen the property yet or measured anything but the stud finder finds no studs and drilling...
