Thanks for the response. When I switch the CH on nothing at all happens (except the CH indicator light comes on), only when I press the reset button does anything happen although it does not actually fire up when I reset it, i.e. the flame does not ignite, it just runs through the ignition...

all sorted... for now at least. Yes sorry, I did mean the fan and pump was running but no spark. Turns out was a faulty spark generator on the 'new' pcb, replaced it with the generator from the old pcb and now all working fine. Thanks for the reply anyway.
