    These things are all pretty much constants. And I would need to remain competitive. If a customer asked for a quote I would need to provide an hourly rate plus materials. I could pull a figure out of the air say £25/ hour? too much? too little?

    Hi thanks for the reply. There are no TRV's. If a rad valve is blocked or shut then would the pipe be cold before the valve? Would this be the cause of the header tank filling with hot water? When I get time I'll drain down and check the valves. Regards Peter
