Bricking up window to reduce size?

The house is a 1930s pebbledash beauty. The exterior needs some repairs anyway so the brickwork could be covered over at the same time? I hadn't considered the extra transom option so thanks for the suggestion.

Bricking up window to reduce size?

How big a job is it to reduce the size of a window opening? I'm in the process of buying a house and the tiny bathroom has a huge window which I'd like to reduce to put in a shower/bath unit along that wall, so that the shower end has just tiles and you don't feel so exposed! [/b][/i]

Tiles on front of 1930s semi

Kddiy, I agree that I would probably want to keep in fitting with the other houses, I'm just not a fan of the tiles on the front. But beefpotnoodles idea of rendering would seem a good alternative. Thank you both for your help.

Tiles on front of 1930s semi

Hi all, first post here! I'm in the early stages of planning a 1930s semi renovation. Bit of a novice and TBH will probably get most of my work done professionally so I'm cheating a bit by posting in a DIY forum but you guys seem to have lots of great ideas so wanted to pick your brains :D...
