It’s a 1930s house. The room behind is my toddlers room who loves to bang everything so that may not help! Nothing massive to worry about then? Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t get worse?
Behind it is a bedroom. No boiler as that’s downstairs and bathroom is opposite side of the house. There is an attic above it. Just concerned at the moment, will redecorate eventually but was just wondering if it was something structural or something to worry about. You google cracks in walls...
It’s the wall you see as you walk down the stairs. Don’t think it has had a dado rail. I have taken a picture of it from downstairs looking up if that helps. Is it anything to worry about does anyone know? Thank you for al lathe replies so far.
Hi we seem to have a bulge in the wall above the stairs. Not sure tbh how long it has been there or if I have just not noticed it before. Is this a problem? Is it blown plaster? Appreciate if anyone can help.
Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone can advise if the cracks in the mortar are anything to worry about coming from the side of a window on a single extension.
It’s on a south facing wall.
Thank you
Hi, we stupidly bought a house with a large side extension that wasn’t signed off (got an indemnity which now I realise is not worth the paper) and is in such rubbish condition we would never be able to sell it. It’s around 13-15 years old the extension. I no we are idiots so don’t go at me...
