Im struggling to open it up any tips ?

I have got a vax VZL 7022.The motor has started to make some strange noises and there is a smell of burning. It isn't much to go on but hopefully some one can point me in the right direction as to what the problem might be.

Would that be something solvent based ?

I ve bought some gates that are 'pressure treated ' what does this actually mean and what is involved ? What could I put on them to help last over the years ?

Yes its cast iron and it is a split on the joint.

I am looking to do abit a spring work outside.One job is , a metal downpipe has a bit of a split round one of the joints what would I need to repair ? The rest of it is in good condition just this so I don't want to replace it.

Tried that its better but still leaking, not badly, more weeping this time.Tightened it up as far as it will go. Should a change the trap or could it be something else ?

dextrous - yes that is how it looks. Is this how most p traps are fitted ? The seal looks ok.I have had the trap out and washed it.Should i just change the seal ?

I have had a leak on the trap for my washing machine.It looks like the joint is leaking.The outlet hose goes to a P trap which then connects to a 90 elbow which goes outside to the drain.It looks like the the elbow is a push fit and the P trap is compression.The elbow has a 4 inch section which...

Im looking to improve the security on rear doors.Just bought the house so i think it the original lock.I am aware that some locks can be easily broke and doors can be lifted.Any advice ?
