Can't find the end of the condensate pipe.

The boiler in question. The front folds down for access to the condensate trap

Can't find the end of the condensate pipe.

I wasn't into the combustion area though was I? I wouldn't do that, especially as my daughter had it serviced recently It is a Bosch Greenstar 32CDI Compact boiler.

Can't find the end of the condensate pipe.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Forgot to take a picture as requested however. Finally got it working. I had a look at the condensate trap and there was some liquid in it so I removed that, but nowhere near full, emptied it, cleaned it and refitted with a little water in the right hand chamber as...

Can't find the end of the condensate pipe.

Yes, nothing outside other than a strange copper pipe about 15mm maybe which comes out through the wall, bends down 90 degrees for an inch or so and bends 90 degrees back in towards the wall again and terminates at the wall. The pipes comes out the boiler at the opposite end to the condensate...

Can't find the end of the condensate pipe.

I can take some pictures tomorrow. Distance wise I will measure tomorrow but it will be about 8 feet horizontally I would think.

Can't find the end of the condensate pipe.

I didn't know there was a tank. I'll go tomorrow and check that. Thanks As said above it is suppose to be warmer tomorrow so might sort itself although a permanent fix is needed.

Can't find the end of the condensate pipe.

My daughters heating went off sometime during the week. Luckily she is in Australia visiting her sister. I checked her house today and the boiler blue light was flashing. I checked the control panel and got code EA 277. Tried reset but that didn't work. The pressure is ok according to the gauge...

    Adhesive.

Daughter has asked me to tile her kitchen and I am getting the adhesive. She has bought metro tiles 200mm x 100mm. Is Bal Green Star suitable for this please? I will not be working quickly so think I should avoid Bal White Star. I have read to avoid B&Q and but from a tile supplier. I will also...

    Tile is thicker than splashback.

Thanks. That's an idea to look into although I don't think she is keen on the stainless steel trim idea but I think that and cutting the bevel off could be the answer. I'll see her at the weekend and have a discussion.

    Tile is thicker than splashback.

Black glass I believe. She is hoping not to have to replace the splashback. Stainless steel trim could work. She wants to use tiles with a bevelled edge (metro tiles?) so there will be alternating full tile with bevelled edge and a cut tile (thicker) as it goes up.

    Tile is thicker than splashback.

My daughter has asked me to tile her kitchen which I am happy and able to do. However, behind the hob there is a splashback which goes up to extractor height and between the top cabinets. All pretty normal. Issue is the tiles are 7.5mm thick and the splashback is 4mm thick so the tiles would...

    Oil based satin wood paint.

Sorry but not sure if I don't understand your answer or auto correct is playing havoc. Finger plates would have to be enormous and really what needs to happen is for me to use the door handles.

    Oil based satin wood paint.

Not been on here for years and surprised I could still log on. Anyway, for a long time I have been using Dulux satin wood water based for internal woodwork in the house but it doesn't last long. My hands are always dirty and so the doors always have to be wiped down to keep them clean and in no...

    Upstand behind hob.

I tiled mine in the end. However several times after doing that I put my hand on the tiles behind the largest heat ring after it had been on for a good 50 minutes with a large pot on it and there was minimal heat transferred to the tiles.

    SimpliSafe Alarms

Hello. I was thinking of an outdoor camera for the front and possibly one for the back garden/door. Alarm box, probably a couple of door sensors and 1 or possibly 2 interior movement sensors. The cameras would have to provide decent quality images otherwise they are pointless. It would have to...
