Interesting.. the 3rd pic was from an amazon listing (not sure i'm allowed to post the link here???) .. which was described as "Intermediate Light Switch (2 Gang)"

Here are some pictures of the existing switch, the two way one i bought and the intermediate switch. Just to confirm.. if i get this intermediate switch i will then be able to swap over? (still not totally sure which wires would go where). thankyou again.
