    49mm OD Waste Pipe

Thanks Andy. Yes that would fit the shower end, but then I need to check if it would accept a 50mm waste pipe either push or solvent, if not will be looking at some sort of reducer type thing.

Thanks, yeah that is the exact chart I was using. It was just from VidaXL.com so nothing special. The sleeve is a good idea.

    49mm OD Waste Pipe

Hi there, I am sure I am not the only one who has come across this issue so was hoping the helpful chaps on here could help. We are installing a shower and the shower waste fitment has a 49.1mm OD (tapered up to about 49.6mm) connection. This doesn't seem to fit any pipes I can find. Could I...

Sanding an outside shed before stain.

Hi, I am looking to stain the outside shed with the Cuprinol colours in cream. The issue is that the last person to paint the shed only used blue gloss paint and this is now peeling. I would assume that I need to get all of this off as the other paint is a stain. As the paint is peeling...

Replacing old programme thermostat with new one

Hi, I am currently changing the old thermostat with a new one and have a couple of questions. The old one only has two wires from the boiler (its a Icon 23T, it will be replaced in the near future). From the manual it says it is a volt-free switch, which is fine. The old thermostat is...
