Thanks. Sounds very plausible. Got some history to undo here at some point, but all working for now!

    Radiator - 3 Feeds

We’re recently moved in to a new house, and we have quite a mixture of radiator configurations. What’s this setup? 2 feeds on the left and lockshield in the right. Is there a reason to setup this way? Haven’t come across it before. I’m assuming 1 flow and 2 return.

    Range Tribune Question

I think it may just be the pump. The tank was still running. I didn’t consider the pump may be more expensive to run than the boiler, but I guess it is. thanks for all who contributed

    Range Tribune Question

It crossed my mind, would you expect the pump to be more expensive to run than heating the water with gas?

I might just turn the boiler off for a day

    Range Tribune Question

Thanks, I didn’t think it was. the meter will give you some overall stats, kWh for the day for example, but not for a specific point in time.

    Range Tribune Question

Thanks, I’ll post the pics. What tools would you use to get spontaneous readings? I don’t think I have enough detail on the smart meter to get the figures for a specific time period.

    Range Tribune Question

The correlation is uncanny. I’m intrigued to the point I want to find out why the electricity follows the gas.

    Range Tribune Question

There is a plastic cover, with part numbers, but no external cable, or isolation Which led to me believe it wasn’t in use. there is a very odd electrical correlation with the gas and the heating timers in the house.

    Range Tribune Question

Hi all, I’m looking for some advice on a Range Tribune HE. it is fed from a system boiler, and I didn’t believe the immersion heater was in use. Since I have been provided better graphs from my smart meter I can see both gas an electric spiking when the cylinder heats up. I appear to be...
