    Hardie Backer Screws?

In the diagram it shows them over boarding existing plasterboard. So assuming it's 12.5 plus 2-3 mm for the plaster and then the 6mm sheet and 1mm for adhesive wouldn't 35mmbe too short as that would only leave about 1cm going into the stud which is why I don't understand why they didn't make...

    Hardie Backer Screws?

That can't be entirely the case as this is on their website so if only meant to be screwed to joists or frames this could be quite confusing. Unfortunately as nice as this illustration is... No mention of screws. Turbogold.. 4 or 5mm on studs?

    Boiler fog horn

I have a strange issue with my Baxi Duo Tec 28GA. When using the central heating the boiler seems to make a load horn/trumptet like noise which is audible inside and out. As the boiler is heating up the sound goes in and out of phase and will in the end disappear after about 10-20 minutes...

    Trusty Baxi 105e

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help with an issue which has started on my ancient yet trusty boiler. I've recently noticed that it seems to have trouble with the flame and will sometimes have to reignite. This seem to be happening only when heating the hot tap and not central heating...
