Wood treatment - single coat for internal applications??

Hi all, Would a single coat of this suffice if the wood is not exposed to day light or wind rain? I've treated the inside of my shed and installed vents to reduce mould. I'm only asking because I've run out and I don't really want to spend another £45. It does say 2 coats are recommended but I...

    Shed insulation?

I guess my thinking was to insulate it so that any hot air from exercise doesn't condense on the cold exterior cladding. The hot air would then be vented quickly using extractor fans.

    Shed insulation?

I also want to board the inside of the shed so I can mount plugs, a TV etc etc. Would that membrane go in between the cladding and the boarding?

    Shed insulation?

Thank you for all the responses. I'm not bothered about the cold. I initially thought to insulate it to help reduce the risk of condensation during the winter months. I don't know if that is right or not. I thought the insulation would reduce the heat transfer to the 'cold' cladding. The...

    Shed insulation?

Well I guess that's why I've come on to this forum to get some advice on. I don't know if I need to insulate it or not.

    Shed guttering

I would appreciate some help. I've attached a picture of my shed. It is a Hipex (tall door). How can I fit guttering to this?

    Shed insulation?

No heating at all. It is a shed doubled up as an exercise room.

    Shed insulation?

@morqthana Thank you for your very detailed reply. I have started to look into your suggestions. Can I also ask whether I should still for permanent ventilation to the shed eg high and low vents? I'm conflicted about why I would insulate the shed but then keep open vents.

    Shed insulation?

I'm building a large shed and I'd like some advice. I have a concrete base which is enclosed in a damp proof membrane. The shed is wooden and has no windows. I will use it to store garden equipment but also my exercise bike. I use this regularly. The conditions during exercise are naturally...

Is this work notifiable under Part P

I have gained two things from this thread. 1. I can go ahead as planned. 2. I'm calling JohnW2 as an expert witness if I am called before a judge because of it. Thanks to everyone for the advice. Much appreciated.

Is this work notifiable under Part P

I didn't ask about how to do the installation. I asked about the remit of the legislation. I want to make sure I don't break the law. I think internet forums are a wonderful tool to support each other and learn new skills. I enjoy teaching myself new skills. I actually think it is a sensible...

Is this work notifiable under Part P

Depending on the person doing the DIY work and their skillset, you could say that about any project.

Is this work notifiable under Part P

I do need to get an electrician in to do some additional work so I'll get them to test it then.

Is this work notifiable under Part P

Hi John, Thank you for your reply. I'm confused. I read it to be any permanent electrical wiring to an outbuilding was notifiable. Why is it not notifiable if it is just extending a circuit to a shed? Yes I am in England.
