Prying out the receiver at the front has sorted it. The pins are on the receiver, so nothing to disconnect, and no live pins left exposed. Insulation tape over the holes for good measure, and it's working perfectly. Thank you so much for your help with this.

Struggling installing Hive on EcoMax boiler. The Hive install was fine, but the old VRT thermostat that came with the boiler also needs to be set to on. Anyone advise what I need to do to disable the old VRT?

Stove is going in Monday now.

The stack goes through the centre of the house, not on an external wall, so I was thinking without vermiculite would be fine. Thoughts? Do you think the internal dents/lifting are fine then? It's for strictly wood burning if that makes any difference?

It's the right way up but it's the it the damage that worried me. The inside should be smooth should it not? Thank you for your help
