Hi, I have combi vogue gen2 boiler. The tap water temperature is okay when we run without radiators on. When the radiators are on the tap water temperature gets too hot. The tap water is at temp 45 and radiator temp at 60. Is this normal?

Hi, Rang ideal as the boiler is before 2019 it needs extra part , and is not plug play. Needs to be wired up. Bit annoying as I will have to gas safety person to fix it.

The instructions show the plug and play system, where you just plug into boiler.

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to run the central heating pump without turning the heating on. The reason being I have just put some cleaner in my sealed system for maintenance. I like it to run around the system but would rather not turn on the heating as it is already too hot outside...

Thanks for that info, Does that come with the conoe filter?

We had bit of dirt in the heat exchanger, so we took it off to clean it. And before anyone starts saying, yes we have had it powerflushed and we do have a filter fitted. I was thinking if the filter would have kept the dirt out of the heat exchanger.

I thought you should be able to take it out with your finger, to check if it is dirty? I tried but there was nothing in there.

Yeah that is correct it is the conoe filter, do I need that? As my boiler did not have it when I took the hose off?

Hi, I recently saw that some of the vaillant ecotec 831 had problems with their rubber hoses and these were being replaced by vaillant to copper ones. I rang up vaillant and they said as it is out of warranty it will be chargeable. I have taken a picture of the rubber hoses could anyone tell...
