Thanks ericmark, Will it not have different resistance if I have cables of different length? Or do I not have to worry about that.

Another this that bugging me is that my main cables and battery interconntion cables are not exactly equal lengths, they are about 15-20mm difference in length. How much of problem is that going to cause if any? As hear talks about how important it is to keep cales equal length.

Mines a 24v Outback inverter, 5.7kw peak for 30 sec, 4kw for 5min then 3kw. I will start with 2x 200Ah to start with and then add more if the load get bigger or requires longer runtime.

Hi, The motor realy stiff, I cant turn the turn table at all. The original bulb was 20watt, the one I replaced was 15watt. Would that have anything to with the bulb and motor not working?

I havent measured the voltage while its on but I took the motor off and it turns when I plug into mains. Also I can turn the turntable with my hand so I guess the coupling is ok? What happen if there is no voltage going to the motor? where do I look then? thanks

Thanks Spark. I've managed to remove the remaining foamy stuff, used a hair drier and tried to leave as much of the black sticky stuff on as possible. Then I stuck the new one in (had the cut to lenght, alot longer than the door), then used the hair drier again and pushed into it as went...

I've got the foam moisture shield, how the hell do I stick it to the door? Will UHU glue do the trick or will that melt in the summer? Some of the glue is left on from the previous shield, can melt it or something? thanks

Its official, when the car is worm, c/l works fine from inside and by remote....I think I'll leave with that, Thanks. About the foam, its on ebay, item number 180293295862, its the layer that goes between the trim panel and the door.
