Just an update to say this is now fixed. The same engineer revisited again for the 5th time. No parts were replaced. A loose connection on the final visit, seems to have been the problem

I didn't pay him everytime he visited, but I paid for the parts, and a couple of days labour. I agree, I would have got better value if I just purchased a new appliance,

Hello By Spout I assume you mean the end of the tap. I have attached a photograph of the end of the tap and this already has a fitting. Also end of tap is more of a square shape not the same shape as the part in question which is round. Is this still where it needs to go? Thanks

Hello I have just purchased this Jasper Morrison Single Basin Mixer (E6396AA). I have put all the pieces that were supplied of the tap together except one piece. I am not sure where this piece fits into the Single Basin mixer tap. The piece I am not sure about, and where it should go on...
