    Which lining paper?

Id go with the 1400 dulux as i find this gives the best results, its quite satisfying using it, allow it to soak for 3-5 mins then put it up. When its cut and in place pull back all the edges and run some paste on wall behind with a 2" brush, then seam roll the edges top bottom and sides. Ive...

And were these previously coated? Did you use an undercoat first or did you manage it in one coat of XD? How does it compare to WeatherShield Gloss?

    Which lining paper?

I agree, the B&Q stuff etc isnt as good as the Dulux paper I use. 1200 and 1400 is easier to apply imo, 1000 seems to show up any imperfections in the original wall so tend to stick with the thicker grades. Which brand do you use?

Only used it a couple of times, I usually use Dulux Once if time is an issue. Is Solo as good in your opinion and will it cover in one go?

Ive done a lot of properties in lining paper and the results are perfect. Some people cant afford or want the mess of plastering so this is a great alternative. I always use Dulux 1400 lining paper unless the walls arent too bad then i drop to 1000...

The wall behind the cooking area, cooker etc should be done in either Endurance or Kitchen Matt to prevent it staining and allowing it to be wiped with a cloth.

If its high traffic id use Dulux Endurance Matt as it will mark up easily. If your on a budget Gliddens Matt Magnolia is about £15 for 10 litres...

    Which Paint for Exterior Windows

All the properties in that row are gloss, ill tell her that gloss is more waterproof and use the Trade WeatherShield Gloss ive used before. If you'd have been as helpful at the beginning this thread wouldnt be 4 pages long.

So if it was your job, you'd sell the Gloss to the customer on the basis it lasts longer and save all the headache.

    Which Paint for Exterior Windows

I always use Dulux products or Gliddens. I dont really rate Crown and only use it at the customers request, I always stick with what I know works. As for the Exterior stuff, ive not used anything other than 1 and 2 part WeatherShield products and Sadolin. Hence my post.

Or the alternative is to use the water based weathershield which says 6 year weathering protection?
