    I have seen chrome multifit fitting, but dont know where they are from... possibly mcalpine... The chrome tube is really only designed to get you back to the wall, after that it should be plastic.. The mcalpine multifit couplings/bends will convert you onto whatever plastic pipe you are...

    I've done training with hepworth, polypipe and speedfit.. .all these companies, though having had there own problems at one time and another, show that incorrect installation is the major cause of problems...

    I agree it is important the pipe be fully inserted, but something that shouldn't be, and doesn't fit properly, shouldn't be there... The manufacturer says you dont put these inserts in copper for a reason...

    Try and find out the manufacturer and contact them direct.. Spare parts often very expensive from suppliers...

    If you look at the flow diagram at 1.4m3h it will deliver approx 3.0mtr head which is under 0.3bar...

    I did say if i remember correctly... And bearing in mind, most people that fit this will have well under 1bar to begin with... You would not fit this to a system that originally had over a bar or so pressure...

    The inserts are not designed to be inserted into copper, different wall thickness, therefore could cause leaks ... They are designed to be a tight fit on the inside of the speedfit pipe.. They will be loose in a copper pipe.. Inserts in all flexi plumbing systems are there to maintain the...

    Depends how much of a boost you require, if i remember correctly these only boost upto about .9 of a bar...

    there are loads of different types, usually they need a good bit of force to get off... Sometimes the plastic will crack when forced, you may have to go to your local plumbers merchant for a new cover.. Remember to open the valve again when you are finished..

    Thats the most common complaint about combi boilers, they just dont have the power to supply more than 1 outlet at a time... No real easy fix other than advise everyone in the house when you are having a shower... .

    Just use plastic from the other side of the joint... You will get the multifit fitting from your local plumbers merchant...
