Just been reading your post from a couple of years ago about your Potterton Combi 80 and the downstairs rad not heating up. We're having a pretty much identical problem, we have even had all the downstairs pipework taken out and flushed for blockages but no good.

Can I ask if you ever found the solution and what was it??
