It turned out there is no PCB cover and no spare fuses. There are two fuses on the board one for the fan and the other one for the rest of the board.
Luckily, the power returned by itself after a little while.
Hi!
Following rewiring in my daughter's house, the boiler has gone completely dead. there is current going through the boiler cable but no display of any kind on the panel.
Do these boilers have an internal fuse?
Where can I get the manual for one.
Thanks for the help in advance.
:D :D :D Well! Well! Well!
So there are plumbers who know about this system. I thought they were all die hard bolt and braces types. My mistake.
You may be right chris. :)
If there are meters in the area then there is no escape. A positive thing about them is your ability to save money if you wanted to.
Good luck.
You could put your cylinder (like my friend did) in the loft by replacing it with a new vented one that turns mains cold water into mains pressure hot water. This is achieved by a built in plate heat exchanger.
You fill the cylinder with cold water once after installation. This water is never...
I would be more than surprised if there is no discharge route for the pressure-relief water. The cylinder (and the house) is still there so maybe all is well?
As for the meter; I do not know anyone who has save money AFTER fitting the meter. So keep your fingers crossed.
:) Interesting replies.
Yes it is possible to draw mains pressure hot water from your existing HW tank. There is a small box available with a heat exchanger and a pump which turns main cold water into mains hot water. The water inside the cylinder stays inside and remains unvented and...

Brilliant post ebee. You know how to hit the nail on the head.
I was intrigued to see enormous price hike of the Wylex Consumer Unit at Screwfix until I noticed "dual RCD".
Well done mate!
I have always avoided this part of kitchen fitting and used edge bars to finish off.
You have now inspired me to try it out and I will. "any thing once" used to be my middle names. Exactly which adhesive did you use?
