    Thank you so much for your reply, so if i dig footings out to solid ground minimum 450mm (in my case probably abit further) and poor in say 6" or so of concrete maybe 300mm wider than a block can i build the block up to ground level from there or will i need to pour the concrete for the floor...

    Thanks for the replies guys.... I think haha. Its more like ive dug a 20-25" hole to get an old shed base and a couple of trees out and then filled it back in to the origional ground level.
