Hi everyone,
Just wondered if anyone could help identify what this might be.
Ive started to dig a trench to lay a new soil pipe and have stumbled across what looks like the old clay pipe around 190mm at a guess and what i believe is the old lead water main but just behind that is a block of concrete which i can only imagine was put there to protect something, any ideas anyone? Included two photos but there not the clearest sorry.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I dont think it would be a soak away not that im an expert by any stretch but its only a little terraced house so dont think it would have one but may be wrong?

From what i can see its around 12" wide but only about 4" deep. Thought it may be something they used to put it around the 50's. Maybe its just a random bit of concrete haha. Ill have to do some more digging, thanks guys!
