It's a strange one, wiring looks good...maybe it's just the kind of receiver I bought...?
Main switch off = receiver works
Receiver in off position = main switch works
But cannot have main switch on and then turn off with reciever.
Tbh I don't actually need that function for my purposes but...

I have found that the receiver only operates when the main switch is on and main switch only operates when the main switch is off.
So I guess the main switch needs to remain permanently live?

One query I have is why my switch neutral wire goes into L on the light fitting.
I guess the switch needs power which its getting by spuring off from the feed and there is no other option but to use the neutral as a switch wire? Am I in the right ball park?

Im going to move onto to trying to use the switch with an upstairs light but having trouble to know where to get the wires. Iv had another comment to this thread with the info...any thoughts?

Iv taken a look at the wiring at the light but I'm not sure how I would connect the receiver and still...

So essentially for my switch to work the pendants need an independent supply?

Yes, that's right. The 3 cable is feeding a two way. So does that mean that the 2 cable is one power cable going into the switch and one cable going out to the first LED i.e. The unknown destination wire.
