Thanks for the reply Fred. It's the first time we have had any work done on the house so we weren't sure whether it was ok or not. Wanted to know that we were not being fobbed off by the builder saying it was normal to have these visible joins. Thanks again. S.

We have recently had our loft converted and we are not sure whether the plastering is up to scratch. The plaster board joins are visible through the plaster but the plaster is quite smooth. A painter has told us that they will show up through the paint. Is this normal? You can also see some...
