cheers for that did not think a little drip would increase pressure realised it would need a new one is it a " stadard part" or special vokera one and where could i get one from? srry to be a pain lol but thx for your help

yes when valve is in boiler position ie straight uo there is a steady drip about 1 every 10 secs would that cause pressure to rise?? and if so what is the cure lol

will give it a bash but i thought that as it does not pass when in off position that that would mean valve ok

Hi I had to disconnect two radiators whilst decorating and lost pressure in CH system. After replacing rads and repressurising system the pressure gradually increases when CH system off. If i leave filling loop in boiler position pressure gradually increases, if filling loop is in off position...

boiler is upstairs above kitchen and extension is ground floor coming off kitchen 2 rooms hence long run am planning to replace 10 mm for 15 in summer when i get some time off (bit of a pain job) would a auxilary pump be needed or help

they are teed off 15 mm (rest of system) is normal they are looped? ie one teed feed comes off inlet on main rad goes to one rad then the other and then returns and is teed to 15 mm outlet on main rad. total run is approx 20 metres. dont know if trvs are bi yes on all rads boiler is a vokera...

forgot to mention am on a combi boiler rest of system fine except cannot use trvs as soon as weturn them down they bang i think that previous fitter may have installed em on wrong side but as all bang is it possible they maybe connected wrong pipes at bolier end ie switching flow around the system??

Hi I have had an extension fitted with two radiators but they never get more than lukewarm the boiler i have been assured was big enough to accomodate the extra radiators but i believe my problem is how they have been piped up. they have been taken off a previuos radiator by using tee pieces off...

When hot water goes off temp reads in 90`s so looks like heat exchanger we are in a hard water area tho. To clean it out do I need to drain rads b4 taking it off, have done it once b4 but long time ago and I aint gettin any younger, lol also explains lack of patience for pedants! who can...

Hi when ch is on and temp approx 63 run hot tap and initialy temp will drop then burner kicks in and temp rises and we get hot water after 1min or so when temp hits around 53ish burner goes back to pilot light and hot water runs cold till temp drops to around 40ish then burner kicks back in etc...

HI just for a change no low pressure but my vokera boiler which was fine during winter since turning it to hot water only for summer is now pressurising the system goes form 1.5 bar to 4 bar in 10 days or so so bleed rads to let pressure back down and it goes up again ac ch is off and filling...
