Washer wasnt draining and pump was faulty so changed the pump. Put it on rinse to test and all seemed ok, but not 100% sure it finished the cycle as didnt hear the final door lock click. Since then washer wont start and after a while red lock light starts flashing. Before I change the lock...
Cleaned up motor and filed ends of brushes a little bit. Put it on spin and it worked. Then part way through door switch clicked a few times and the red light started flashing. Again pressed start and it worked and same again happened.
Didnt see any burning on door switch connector.
Great thanks for that i thought it would be a control board fault. I would be interrested to know how the motor brushes affect the door switch operation
Washer door lock light flashing. Changed door lock switch but washer still thinks door isnt shut. Took main control board out looks like some soot on some of the components. Is there a common fault with components on the board that i can replace them?
Thanks
