    2 Channel madness - Danfoss RX2 Controller with 2x HP2a motorised valves

Hey folks, I have 2 central heating circuits on separate thermostats. The stats are Danfoss TP5000RF jobbies. They put their demands into a Danfoss RX2 controller. The boiler is a Grant Vortex 15-26-s. I have tested the stats and the controller and am satisfied that the controller is fed the...

    Boiler won't stop running!

Just moved in, never run the system as not needed it. Thought it wise to take a look before the winter comes.... I suspect now that the proverbial black box is causing a heating demand. The system is a bit weird. Two thermostats, one for upstairs and one downstairs. And a HW circuit which...

    Boiler won't stop running!

Now I've discovered that there's actually no hot water to the taps, just hot rads in the bathroom. Crazy! Ahhhhhhhhhh!

    Boiler won't stop running!

The valves are Danfoss HTG. I've pulled the panel off the wall where it hides the pipe work. The vales appear to be functioning as there's no HW to the central heating, just a couple of hot rads in the bathroom, probably plumbed into the HW circuit I suspect. The HW seems to be on full demand...

Hi and thanks for the replies. Just had a baby so bit slow on the uptake... There's no external grille so I presume that its sofit mounted - seems sweird to me, where does it dump the extracted air? Just into the roof space? Replacing the whole fan seems like a big job to me, it's on an...

Extractor fan covers - can't find one anywhere!

So I have completed at upward extension to the house and we have a new shower room. Building regs meant that an extractor needed to be fitted. I open the window when I shower so the extractor is next to useless for me, but perhaps not everyone... What I'd like is a cover to fit over it as...

Hi chaps and chapesses, starting to get involved in the the world of doing it myself and wondered if I could bend your ear. I have an under stairs cupboard with a wired into the mains light. The light has an existing switch which is a long way from the door. I want to set the light to come...
