I'm looking for an alternative to rock salt that will be safe to use on wood

I'm looking for a deicer to use on a wooden deck that won't damage the wood. Im struggling to find anything online that isn't salt based. Does anyone have any suggestions or a product they've used? Thanks

It's on the low end of the scale price wise but that's good know. Any minimums I should be looking for in terms of cladding thickness and insulation type?
