    not sure cause I can't get access to it. as it's a very small flat, I doubt i'm losing heat in such short distance. I just know that water is very hot by the kitchen sink and only warm in bath/shower tap...do mixers have it's own thermostat?

    good point Spark123! i just rotated it and it's defo not for earthing as it only spins around 360 degrees. so i guess that answers my own question as i don't think this can be earthed anyway...
