    Performa 28i - no CH

Hello Can anynoe help check my diagnosis of a boiler fault? It's a Potterton Performa 28i combi. The hot water is fine, but nothing flows around the heating circuit. I've proved that the pump is running ok, by keeping the divertor pin plunged until the rads get hot. I've proved that...

    Economy 18

I, too, must apologise, because I hadn't tried the forum search feature. In my defense, when I tried this facility before signing up, I found it to be almost wholly unusable. I've tried it again just now, and found this one topic that gives the answer...

    Economy 18

Your link was missing, but I had already read the Scottish Power information, thank you. I had also tried asking E.On, but they are closed on Sundays. I know that the E.On times might be different - that was the other reason for creating this topic. I had already tried Google, and...

    Connector blocks, with a difference

I don't need any for 4mm² - only 2.5mm² and below. Is "CN07080" meant to be a part number? I still can't find the item on the RS site. :( Crimps certainly give a mechanically stronger connection, but they can't be quickly disconnected and re-made.

    Data logging

Thank you plugwash and flameport. In answer to the question "What exactly have they done to acheive this?", it was done by connecting the feed to the lower element to the DP switch supplying that was supplying the upper element, and leaving the upper element disconnected. The appliance has a...

    Connector blocks, with a difference

Hello I'm looking for the connector blocks, aka connector strips, aka choc blocks, that have a strip of metal under the screw to clamp the conductor. The advantage is that conductor(s) can't slip up beside the screw. I know that the plate has a greater surface area than a screw, with the...

Hullo Landlord here. Yes, I know, probably you all hate me, since I'm responsible for the entire credit crunch. However, I have a technical problem and am seeking help. Please. I have an apartment with a Gledhill Pulsacoil 2000. Don't weep for me - just throw money. It's had some...
