Thanks plugwash - I hadn't heard of CPC - pardon my ignorance.

I don't need any for 4mm² - only 2.5mm² and below. Is "CN07080" meant to be a part number? I still can't find the item on the RS site. :( Crimps certainly give a mechanically stronger connection, but they can't be quickly disconnected and re-made.
